Christoph Borst’s research and teaching focus on interaction and visualization. He worked on visual, audio, and haptic interfaces for various applications including geological dataset studies, VR-based training systems, and predictive displays for remote robots. His contributions in these areas include improved interaction techniques, new visual rendering techniques, human factors studies to understand and optimize interface elements, and framework and software development for emerging display and interaction devices. His teaching has included computer graphics, visualization techniques, virtual reality, and 3D interaction. | Christoph Borst’s research and teaching focus on interaction and visualization.
