Henry Chu’s research interests are in machine learning and data science. His recent work focuses on developing unsupervised deep learning methods that can synthesize the underlying probabilistic distribution of data so that optimal decisions on the data can be devised. He frames his work in societal system analytics, with an initial focus on health systems. For the past three years, he has led a team of software and informatics professional in a strategic innovation partnership with the Louisiana Department of Health. His work usually involves collaborations with subject matter experts to provide data evidence that advises on policy matters. Henry Chu’s research interests are in machine learning and data science.
