Project - Summary

Independent Certification of Trusted Aerospace Products (ICTAP) is an R&D effort whose purpose is to determine the feasibility of an independently-operating Cyber Certification Laboratories (CCL) organization. The CCL is expected to focus on the trusted certification of aerospace products, specifically Vehicle Management Systems (VMS). Downstream, it will be extended to associated Navigation Systems. Industry partner Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems (NGAS) is expected to provide one of its emerging products as the basis for a pilot program.
