10a.002.TAU_WP2 - Early Myocardial Infarction Detection by Echocardiography

Project - Summary

  • Design a system to detect myocardial infarction (MI) in its early stages using echocardiography to help cardiologists with the diagnosis by a time-efficient, robust, and accurate system.
  • Multi-modal one-class classification is used to bring a solution to early MI detection using multi-view echocardiographic data that includes apical 4-chamber (A4C) and apical 2-chamber (A2C) views.
  • The largest multi-view 2D echocardiographic dataset for the purpose of MI detection is publicly shared to the research community.
